The half-timbered house on Marienkirchplatz served as a meeting place for many years. It is ruined. It is currently collapsing. It said that a renewal would not be valid. That’s how it goes.
Many memories are associated with the half-timbered house in the shadow of St. Mary’s Church. Once home to the organist and sexton, it became a meeting place and the Laudate church store had its home there for many years. Until two years ago, the lease of the store with the special atmosphere was not renewed. Since then, there have been religious objects such as angels, rosaries, crosses or candles just a few meters away in the former Plagge house at Altstadtstraße 2 at the entrance to Graf-Adolf-Straße.
