In the state, the balance is of the reduction of attacks due to reinforcements and actions of public safety in the streets.
Through social networks, the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Flavio Dino, announced the dispatch of 100 more agents of the National Force to the state. “We have more than 500 members of the National Forces and federal forces working in Rio Grande do Norte, assisting the state government. Now I have determined the appointment of 100 more policemen”, the minister wrote on Twitter. This Saturday, the Secretary of Public Security of Rio Grande do Norte, updated the balance of the Task Force working to curb the wave of violence. Since last Tuesday, when there were the first records, 111 suspects were arrested, among them three teenagers, 11 recaptured by justice and three monitored with electronic surveys. In the latest case, one of them was arrested with a firearm, another with a gallon of gasoline and the third with a large amount of drugs. The balance sheet also records 34 firearms seized, in addition to four counterfeit ones, 98 explosive devices and 23 liters of petrol. 12 motorcycles, two cars, money, drugs, ammunition and stolen items were also seized.
