A curious gesture stole the show at Congress US this Tuesday, 8. During the broadcast, the First Lady of the USA, Jill Bidenand US Vice President Kamala Harris’ husband, Doug Emhoff, greeted each other with what appeared to be a “bump” when they bumped into each other at the event where Joe Biden, the country’s president, delivered a State of the Union address. The First Lady received a standing ovation when she arrived on the scene and walked over to the row of chairs where Doug was sitting. They bent down and kissed. The gesture was widely commented, including the opponents of the American president, such as the former adviser of Donald Trump and the former president of the country Kellyanne Conway. She shared a photo of the kiss and wrote: “Wow Covid is really over.” already the New York post chose to make a pun with the name of the event and called it “Kiss of Union”. Watch the video below:
