The fiscal framework is due to be presented to Lula next week

According to the leader, there is enough time for the framework to be included in the Budget Guidelines Bill (PLDO).

The head of the Congress government, Randolph Rodríguez (Rede-AP), said that the new fiscal framework should be presented to President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva next week.

According to the leader, there is enough time for the framework to be included in the Budget Guidelines Bill (PLDO). The LDO must be sent to Congress by the executive by April 15 and approved by the legislature by June 30. “That calendar will be fulfilled. Now, in March, the new fiscal framework will be presented,” he said.

Earlier, Planning Minister Simon Tebbett announced that the new fiscal mechanism, which will replace the spending cap, will please everyone, including the financial market. He noted that the framework will be consistent with fiscal responsibility.

Today the minister met with the Minister of Finance Fernando Haddad to get acquainted with the content of the proposal. The idea is to finalize the project in the economic sphere, so that it can then be approved by President Lula.
