The new ASUS laptop isn’t just OLED. It’s also an Intel Core i9

Screens based on the OLED matrix are increasingly appearing in laptops, and the lack of an LCD does not come as a surprise to anyone these days. Asus expands its Vivobook range with a new model – Vivobook S16 Flip OLED (TP3604), which not only has a great screen, but also a powerful 13th generation Intel Core i9 processor. What else can it boast of?

We recently learned that ASUS is introducing its latest gaming laptops in Poland: ROG Strix SCAR 16 And 18and also about Chromebook CM14 resistant to adversity. This time it’s time for a device from a completely different segment – Vivobook S16 Flip OLED.

The device received a 16-inch3.2K touchscreen OLED display (3200 × 2000 pixels) with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a response time of 0.2 ms. There will be 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space, the PANTONE Validated certificate and Corning Gorilla Glass NBT glass.

The panel supports a stylus with 4096 pressure levels. Since we are dealing with a flip device here, it could not do without a 360° hinge that allows it to be used in tablet mode.

with heart ASUS VivoBook S 16 OLED will be at its strongest Intel Core i9-13900H processor (14 cores – 6P + 8E), combined with the Intel Iris Xe graphics chip with 96 cores. CPU is present 16GB RAM DDR4-3200 and 1TB PCI-e 3.0 SSD.

The device also comes with an installed Full HD webcam, a set of Harman Kardon speakers and a set of required ports and connectivity:

  • 1x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 with PD and DisplayPort function,
  • 1x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2,
  • 1x USB-A 2.0,
  • 1xHDMI 2.1,
  • 1x 3.5mm audio jack
  • 1x direct current,
  • Bluetooth 5.2,
  • WiFi 6E.

The energy is supplied by a battery with a capacity of 70 Wh. Windows 11 should run on the laptop by default.

Interestingly, ASUS will also sell a version of the laptop without an OLED screen, and it will be available in return 16-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 × 1200 pixels.

Devices in the version with an IPS screen will be equipped with weaker processors: Intel Core i3-1315U, Core i5-1335U or Core i5-13500H. The laptop will also get a smaller battery – 50 Wh for processors with the letter H or 45 Wh for models with the letter U.

So far we don’t know the prices of the new Asus laptop.
