Santa came a little faster this year, with 3 trailers debuting on December 1st for what promises to be next year’s highest grossing production. We finally got a new Indiana Jones installment, the announcement of a new giant robot movie, and the third installment of Guardians of the Galaxy.
Indiana Jones is back and… rejuvenated
One of the most anticipated films of next year will undoubtedly be the 5th part of the Indiana Jones series. Harrison Ford will reprise his role as the titular hero and this time he will be searching for the Shield of Destiny. It seems that the film will not lack spectacular chases, gunfights and Nazis. Time travel is also being speculated, as the trailer shows a rejuvenated Harrison Ford, but that’s just speculation at this point. Indiana Jones and the Wheel of Destiny hits theaters on June 30, 2023.
Transformers: Rise of the Beasts
Paramount Studio won’t let us forget the cool robots from the planet Cybertron. The last couple of films from this universe have failed in terms of screenwriting, but the spectacular robot fights still attract millions of viewers to the cinemas, so it is not surprising that another part was created. This time, the Autobots will have to join forces with cybernetic beasts to face their worst enemies, while defending planet Earth of course. Is there anything else important to the plot? Looking at the trailer, it doesn’t seem like it, but I won’t let that put me off :-). The film will hit theaters on June 9, 2023.
Guardians of the Galaxy, Part 3
Finally, the last of yesterday’s trailers are Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, who will return in all their glory and glory on May 5, 2023. The first part of this story was certainly a breath of fresh air in the Marvel universe, as it brilliantly combined action with humor on screen. The second part didn’t get such good reviews, but despite that, I will watch the next part of Guardians of the Galaxy anyway, because as you can see, this part will not lack dark humor either. Let’s hope that an interesting plot line will follow, but we will find out in half a year.
