The new OnePlus smartphone tempts with a strong specification. What does it offer?
OnePlus started with flagships and still has a soft spot for smartphones with strong specs. The latest model in its range can also boast of this. Customers in Poland will also be able to feel this power in their hands.
What does the OnePlus Ace 2V smartphone offer?
The heart of this model is the former MediaTek Dimensity 9000 flagship processor with a maximum clock frequency of 3.05 GHz with an Arm Mali G710 MC10 848 MHz graphics chip, which is manufactured using a 4-nm technological process. In addition, there is 12 to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256 to 512 GB of built-in UFS 3.1 internal memory on board.
On the front of the smartphone there is a flexible 2.5D AMOLED screen (although it does not overlap the side edges) with a diagonal of 6.74 inches and a resolution of 2772 × 1240 pixels (450 ppi) with an adaptive image refresh function ( 120/90/60/ 45/40 Hz), support for 1.07 billion colors and 100% DCI-P3 and sRGB, as well as brightness up to 500 nits (global, local up to 1450 nits). The manufacturer boasts that the frame is only 1.46 mm wide.
The OnePlus Ace 2V also has a pretty good photography background. On its back there are three cameras, including the main 64 Mpix (f / 1.7) and 8 Mpix (f / 2.2) with a lens with a viewing angle of 112 °. The third is a 2 Mpix (f/2.4) matrix for macro photos. The rear camera can record video with a resolution of up to 4K at 60 frames per second. There is a 16 Mpix (f / 2.4) camera on the front.
The smartphone is also equipped with a multilayer cooling system with graphite and a steam chamber with an area of 4129 mm2physical slider for switching operating modes on the side edge, NFC module, Hi-Res Audio certified stereo speakers, leading linear motor with X-axis vibration, infrared emitter, Bluetooth 5.3 and WiFi 6 and on-screen fingerprint reader and dual SIM (2x nano SIM).
The smartphone will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged at 80W via the USB-C port (it also serves as a headphone jack). The OnePlus Ace 2V measures 162.6 × 75.1 × 8.15 mm and weighs 191.5 grams. Its front is covered with Asahi Glass, and the back is Corning Gorilla Glass 5th generation. The whole factory runs on Android 13.
Price, availability
In China, customers will be able to choose between three versions:
- 12/256 GB for 2299 yuan (equivalent to ~ 1470 zlotys),
- 16/256 GB for 2499 yuan (~ 1600 PLN),
- 16/512 GB for 2799 yuan (~ 1790 PLN).
The OnePlus Ace 2V debuted in China and will only be available there, at least under that name. There are rumors that the smartphone will be released on the global market (including Poland) as the OnePlus Nord 3 in July 2023, moreover, only in two configurations: 8/128 GB and 16/256 GB. Naturally, you should expect a higher price than in China.
