The new OnePlus smartphone will debut soon. What will it offer?

Man does not live only from flagships. OnePlus is aware of this and is certainly slowly preparing to present 3rd generation Nord smartphones. We know when “the humble one” will debut.

Nord Lite version

Interestingly, the specification of OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite has been known for a few months. Its stronger brother, simply called Nord CE 3, should get the Snapdragon 695 mobile chip, at least that’s what the unofficial information that emerged in November 2022 suggested. However, after some time it turned out that the Ace 2V model from the same manufacturer debuted in China, and the Nord CE 3 will be its twin design in the world market. The problem is that in China it received SoC Dimensity 9000 and in the rest of the world it will be replaced by Snapdragon 782G.

So what about the mid-range OnePlus equipped with Snapdragon 695? With this specification, the Nord CE 3 Lite 5G model appears. And it’s coming soon, because according to Twitter user Max Jambor, it’s a smartphone will have its premiere April 4, a few months ahead of the Nord CE 3 model, which is due to be launched alongside the OnePlus Nord 3 around July 2023. So what can we expect from the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite?

OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G – Specification

On the front of the device we see a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. In the notch at the top we get a 16 Mpix selfie camera. On the back of the device are two islands with three cameras: one with a 108 MPix main camera and the other with a depth sensor and a 2 MPix macro camera.

According to the information previously provided, the Nord CE 3 Lite will get the Snapdragon 695 mobile system with two configurations – 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and 12GB RAM + 256GB data storage. Inside is a 5000mAh battery that supports fast charging with an output of 67W. The fingerprint reader is located on the side of the device and from not always usual options – there will also be a 3.5 mm minijack and a microSD card slot.

The price of the device is not known, although it will certainly be lower than the OnePlus Nord CE 3 model, which costs from ~ 1470 to ~ 1790 zlotys in China. Therefore, it can be predicted that Nord CE 3 Lite 5G can target a price of up to ~ PLN 1,500 in Polish reality and compete with smartphones like Motorola Moto G73 5G or POCO X5 5G.
