Planning Minister Simone Tebbet said this Thursday the 9th that the new fiscal framework, which will replace the current spending ceiling, will please everyone, including the financial market. This Thursday, Tebet participated in the meeting with the Minister of Finance, Fernando Haddad, to whom the new fiscal mechanism was presented.
He announced that the scope, rules and figures of the new framework will be announced by Haddad after presenting it to the President of the Republic, Luis Inacio Lula da Silva.
Tebbett, however, assured that the mechanism will please everyone as it addresses both the concern of zeroing the fiscal deficit and stabilizing the debt-to-GDP ratio, and guarantees the necessary investment for the country to return to growth.
