Manaus – The suspect for participating in the kidnapping of a businessman’s wife in Manaus was arrested this Wednesday (8). The incident happened on Tuesday (7) in the parking lot of the Ponta Negra shopping center, which is located in the western part of Manaus.
The criminals managed to make several transfers from the victim’s bank account that reached a total of R$ 8 thousand.
According to Deputy Costa e Silva, from the 19th Integrated Police District (DIP), the woman arrived at the parking lot when they approached her and placed her in the back seat of the vehicle.
The victim was abandoned in the neighborhood of Santo Agostinho, west of Manaus.
They ordered her to keep her head down, crouch down, and fled in their car,” said the delegate.
