There is a new Huawei smartphone. What does it offer and how much does it cost?
Huawei without warning and great fanfare released a new smartphone that is mainly aimed at young people because it has the addition “Youth Edition”. What does it offer and how much should you pay for it? We check!
What does the new Huawei nova 10 Youth Edition smartphone offer?
On the front of the smartphone there is an LCD display with a diagonal of 6.78 inches and a Full HD+ resolution of 2388 × 1080 pixels (387 ppi), which can refresh the image at a frequency of 90 Hz and supports the DCI-P3 color palette. The manufacturer boasts that the side bezels are only 1.05mm wide. In its upper part, in a round opening on the screen, there is a camera with a 16 Mpix matrix and an f/2.2 aperture for selfies and video calls.

On the back of the smartphone there are as many as four cameras, including the main 108 Mpix, plus 8 Mpix with an ultra-wide-angle lens, 2 Mpix for macro photos and 2 Mpix for depth measurement. In the black version, the camera island is gold-plated, just like the other models in the nova 10 series – as Kasia said, it feels luxurious here. The blue variant of the device no longer has gold accents, it is uniform and less noticeable.
The driving force behind the Huawei nova 10 Youth Edition is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. Surprisingly, for some reason completely incomprehensible to us, the manufacturer does not specify how much RAM this model has. However, it informs that customers can choose from two versions: with 128 GB and 256 GB of built-in internal memory. The whole factory runs on the HarmonyOS 2.0 system and is powered by a 4000 mAh battery that can be charged with up to 66 W (via USB-C port; up to 60% in 15 minutes and up to 100% in 35 minutes).
Huawei nova 10 Youth Edition also offers support for 5W reverse charging (USB OTG) and dual SIM and fingerprint reader on the side. There’s no NFC module, no microSD card slot, and no 3.5mm headphone jack.

How much does the new Huawei nova 10 Youth Edition smartphone cost?
The Huawei nova 10 Youth Edition will be available in China from March 3, 2023 at a price of 1,999 yuan, which is equivalent to ~ 1,280 zlotys. However, customers in Poland have long been able to buy an identical smartphone under a different name – Huawei nova 9 SE (with 8 GB RAM, NFC and EMUI), currently for 1299 PLN. Therefore, it can be said that Huawei overheated the chop.
