This powerbank costs as much as a smartphone. Why so many?
Powerbanks are equipment that are usually not interesting enough to write about. However, there are exceptions to every rule. Such is the case with the power bank launched by the Xtorm brand. This is a device that boasts not only a large capacity and high charging power, but also a really (too) high price.
Powerbank Xtorm – what does it offer?
Undoubtedly, one of the cardinal sins of most power banks on the market is the fact that there is simply too little power in them and not enough for many charges. However, the Dutch manufacturer equips its latest product XB402 Titan with a battery with a capacity of 24000 mAh. And it ensures that this is enough to charge a MacBook or other laptops – the power bank can fully charge their battery in just an hour and a half.
The device is optimized for charging Apple laptops. The manufacturer emphasizes that tests have shown that the power bank is able to charge the MacBook Pro to half the battery in half an hour. All this thanks to the fact that one of the ports can charge devices connected to it with a power of 140 W.
Powerbank Xtrom XB402 Titan has three more USB ports with which we can charge other devices, such as a smartphone or tablet. Each port supports Power Delivery, a technology that significantly speeds up the charging process by recognizing the type of connected device and adjusting the appropriate voltage to it.
It is worth mentioning that this power bank supports so-called pass-through charging. In practice, this means that it is possible, for example, to charge a smartphone while the power bank itself is charging.

This equipment costs as much as a smartphone!
Powerbank Xtrom is equipped with an LED display that shows the state of charge of the battery, as well as a special compartment for the charging cable. The dimensions of the device are 19 cm x 9 cm x 3 cm, and its weight is as much as 833 grams.
Now what is perhaps the most surprising thing about this equipment ie. the price. The 140W Xtorm XB402 Titan is available at a suggested retail price of PLN 899. A slightly cheaper version offering 60 W charging costs PLN 719.
Although the parameters offered by the power bank are really promising, its price is really high. Currently, for a similar amount, you can buy smartphones such as Xiaomi Redmi 12C, Redmi Note 11, Motorola Moto G13 or Samsung Galaxy M13.
