Three people were arrested early Sunday morning after reports of a shooting in the area of Parliament and Dundas Street.
Officers were called to the area around 7:50 a.m. where they found a suspicious vehicle, made an arrest and allegedly found a firearm inside the vehicle.
Toronto police Const. Laura Brabant says police were still looking for evidence of an actual shooting.
“No one was injured and I don’t think we could find any signs of a gunshot,” Brabant said. “Usually we find shell casings, but we didn’t find any. It’s such a large area so I think the cops are still searching the area. There were reports that a vehicle had left the area and officers were able to locate and stop the vehicle. “
