To PF, Torres backtracks and says the cell phone was not in the US

In testimony to PF this Thursday (2), former Justice Minister Anderson Torres backtracked on his account that he left his cell phone in the US during a holiday trip in July. He just said “lost” The device:

“Questioned about the location of his mobile device[, Torres] informed that he did not leave it in the USA, but lost it.”appears in the deposit message.

The former minister also noted. “With an arrest warrant in Brazil, he was wanted by many people”and therefore “Decided to turn off cell phone”.

He said he didn’t know where the device was, but it “can provide cloud password” and thus recover some of the data stored on the Internet.

Torres said it too “He only uses his personal phone and all conversations are on that cell phone.”.
