‘Trespasses’: A stirring account of forbidden love in troubled times
intrusion Troubled Northern Ireland in 1975 is a love story and a war story about the life of a young woman. It has received critical acclaim from the likes of renowned authors Emma Donoghue and Marian Keyes.

Prison Break: Synopsis
During the day, Kushra, 24, works as a primary school teacher at a “safer” school in conflict-ridden Belfast. Some nights she helps her brother at the home bar. The rest of the time, she cared for her widowed, alcoholic mother.
However, thanks to two new relationships, Kushra’s life has been turned upside down.
One morning, on her way to school, she hitched a ride to David, a rain-drenched student. He and his siblings are Catholics but live in an area with predominantly Protestant families. When David’s father became one of the most common atrocities in the conflict in Northern Ireland, Kushra found himself closer to his family.
While working at a bar, Kushra met Michael. He is a married lawyer who is respected by Catholics and Protestants alike. Despite the age difference, his family life and the polarizing cases he took on, Kushra fell in love and they began an affair.
When her two new relationships crossed by chance, the results were disastrous for everyone in Kushra’s life.
The book begins with an older Kushra, and it’s no secret to the reader how the story ends. That’s how parts of Kushra’s life intertwine and contribute to the devastating ending that makes this novel so gripping to read.
