ARSENAL fans were divided over Mikel Arteta’s stirring dressing room chat with his team ahead of their clash with Norwich last season.
A new trailer for Amazon’s club documentary All or Nothing was released on Wednesday, causing social media to collapse.
Arteta was seen giving an inspirational speech to his players thanking him for the “best week” of his football career as the club sat bottom of the table.
Three successive defeats at the start of the 2021-22 season against Brentford, Chelsea and Manchester City have left the Spaniard under huge pressure in north London.
And in a bid to motivate his players ahead of the home game against the Canary Islands, Arteta revealed that he underwent open heart surgery as a child.
His words resonated with his team as the Gunners beat Norwich at the start of an eight-match unbeaten run in the top flight.
But some Arsenal supporters were left confused by Arteta’s speech, including Sun commentator Piers Morgan.
He tweeted: “What on earth did I just watch? So weird.”
Another fan commented: “The old ‘damn confuse the player approach – classic.’
A third added: “Back off, to be honest.”

But most fans loved Arteta’s team performance as they heaped praise on the club’s former captain.
This supporter wrote: “That’s really cool. It’s not hard to see why players want to play him.”
Another fan commented: “Wow. This might be the most impressive team speech I’ve ever heard. No wonder the players are running through walls for Mikel.”
One then commented: “This is such an inspiring team talk. Can’t wait for August 4th.”
Meanwhile, this user simply said: “I would die for this man.”
And another fan tweeted: “That guy is Mikel Arteta. Wow.”
