We’ve got the Redmi Note 12 global launch date
The Redmi Note 12 series has been available in the Chinese and Indian markets for some time now. All those who were waiting for the global premiere of the new smartphones of the Chinese manufacturer can start the countdown, because this event will take place very soon.
Redmi Note 12 series – specification and price
At the beginning of March this year, a graphic was published online, presenting the main specification parameters of all the Redmi Note 12 series smartphones, as well as their global prices. What do the devices offer and how much will you have to pay for them?
The base model of the series will have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The performance of the device will be provided by the processor Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 (in the 5G version), Snapdragon 680 (in the 4G version). In both cases, the chipset should work with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.
There will also be a 13 Mpix selfie camera, a 48 Mpix main camera (50 Mpix in the 4G version), an 8 Mpix ultra-wide angle lens and a 2 Mpix macro sensor on board. A 5,000 mAh battery is responsible for powering the components, which will support 33 W wired charging. According to pre-launch reports, the price of the Redmi Note 12 4G should be 279 euros (~ 1,300 PLN), while the 5G version will cost 299 euro. (~1400 PLN).
The Redmi Note 12 Pro will offer the same size display as the base model, but the smartphone will also support Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos technologies. Under the hood, there will be a MediaTek Dimensity 1080, which will work with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal memory.
The camera configuration of this model will consist of a 50 Mpix main camera based on the Sony IMX 766 matrix with OIS, as well as two additional sensors – just like in the Redmi Note 12 model. In the “Pro” version, the battery will also have a capacity of 5000 mAh, but the power of the charging power it supports should be 67 W.
The last smartphone in the series is the Redmi Note 12 Pro+, which is generally not much different from the Note 12 Pro model. The changes are mainly a 200 Mpix main camera with OIS, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of built-in internal memory, as well as a battery that supports the faster 120 W wired charging standard HyperCharge. As for the prices, they will look like this: Redmi Note 12 Pro will cost 399 euros (~ 1870 PLN), and the Note 12 Pro + model will cost 499 euros (~ 2330 PLN).
When is the premiere?
If the Redmi Note 12 series has convinced you with its specifications and relatively low price, you must be wondering when the smartphones will hit the global market and you will be able to see them on store shelves. The date of the event where the latest smartphones of the Chinese manufacturer will be presented was announced on the brand’s Twitter account Xiaomi.
An event Live aliveat which the Redmi Note 12 series smartphones will be presented and thus have their global premiere, will take place on Thursday, March 23, 2023 and should start at 16:00 Polish time.
