Are you waiting for AMD Radeon RX 7000 graphics cards? The presentation of new models is coming soon. However, those interested in buying will have to wait a little longer.
The end of the year is an extremely interesting period in the graphics card market for gamers. Recently, the GeForce RTX 4000 models (including the top RTX 4090) debuted, and the premiere of the Radeon RX 7000 model is upon us. When can we expect them?
Introducing Radeon RX 7000 cards soon
On November 3, AMD is organizing the “together we advance_gaming” conference where they will announce Radeon graphics cards from the new generation RDNA 3 (unofficially it is known that it is Radeon RX 7000).
During the presentation, the “red” should reveal details about the new models – the upcoming generation, according to the manufacturer’s announcement, “It will provide a new level of efficiency, effectiveness and functionality for gamers and digital content creators”.
Which Radeon RX 7000 cards is AMD preparing?
It is unofficially known that the first two more efficient models will appear on the market: Radeon RX 7900 XT and Radeon RX 7900 XTX. We will have to wait longer for the next, weaker constructions.
|Model||Radeon RX 7900 XT||Radeon RX 7900 XTX|
|Generation||rDNA 3 (5 nm)||rDNA 3 (5 nm)|
|Graphic layout||AMD Navi 31 XT||AMD Navi 31 XTX|
|Video memory||20 GB GDDR6 320-bit||24 GB GDDR6 384-bit|
|Memory clock||20,000 MHz||20,000 MHz|
|Memory bandwidth||800 GB/s||960 GB/s|
|Infinity Cache||192 MB||192 MB|
|TDP coefficient||~ 330 W||~ 420 W|
Both cards should be based on the AMD Navi 31 graphics chip, but will differ in the number of units and video memory. Of course, we can also expect a difference in performance and power consumption (we know that the manufacturer will not use the new 16-pin 12VHPWR power connector here).
When will the Radeon RX 7000 cards be available for purchase?
There are many indications that on November 3rd we will deal only with the announcement of new models (the so-called paper premieres). We’ll probably have to wait a little longer for the official debut.
According to user Greymon55, the official premiere of the cards should take place in early December (probably between December 1st and 5th).
Experience shows that then independent card tests should also appear, which will evaluate the real capabilities of the equipment. It can also be expected that the first versions of the cards will arrive on store shelves in due time.
We don’t know about you, but we can’t wait to get our hands on the new Radeon :-).
