who are the 10 most awarded Brazilian artists in the world

The English publication lists six Brazilians as creative directors and four as CCOs

One of the world’s leading creative magazines, The Drum, has published a ranking of the world’s most awarded creatives. The list, split between creative directors and CCOs, brings a total of ten Brazilians, some of whom are active outside the country.

As reported by The Drum, the selected names were analyzed according to the performance of their work at the world’s main creative awards held last year.

In the ranking of creative directors, the Brazilian Bruno Brooks from GUT SP took the 25th place. Also appearing are Murillo Melo, also from GUT SP (38th), Renata Leo, David (43rd), Bianca Guimaraes, Mischief from USA (53rd), Rodrigo Leal Rodriguez, Horizon from FCB Dubai (79th) and Beto. Rogoski, of VMLY&R (81st).

Rounding out the top three in this category is Sam Shepherd of Leo Burnett in Chicago, USA, followed by Elliott Langerman of ZS and Marie Claire Maaloof of Impact BBDO.

Now, the list of CCOs brings four names from Brazil. Gabriel Schmitt, who was ranked 21st with FCB New York but recently took over as creative chairman of Gray Group’s global CCO, was the best Brazilian. Africa’s Sergio Gordillo is 37th, ahead of Danilo Burr of FCB Global (48th) and Rafael Pitanguy of VMLY&R (93rd).

First place went to Liz Taylor of Ogilvy; Rounding out the top 3 are Alexander Schill of Serviceplan and Tim Hawke of Area 23.
