Why new Chiefs star ‘Nyaope’ keeps missing

so Kaiser Chief found it unnecessary to report amajos star Kamohelo Mahlatsi Missed most of the preseason due to injury.

Kaiser chief welcomes Mahartz back

Mahlatsi, 23, has been a notable absentee after following the club’s training update images over the past two months.

According to Unplayable, the Sebokeng-born attacking midfielder has been sidelined through injury. The good news is that “Nyoape” is now back in Naturena.

“Kamohelo Mahlatsi will begin training with the Kaiser Chiefs today after recovering from injury,” Export report.

Based on the tone of the report and the Chiefs’ media profile, Mahlatsi may have signed the already injured Glamour Boys after helping the Swallows in the PSL relegation/promotion play-offs at the end of last season.

why he is called NYAOPE

So what can fans expect from the former SuperSport United and AmaTuks attacker?

The best way to describe him is “creativity and talent”. Mahlatsi may be called “Nyoape” because of the way he looks slow and quick with his close-range ball handling, dribbling and sliding past defenders.

Coach Arthur Zwane can use him as a No. 10, No. 8 or an inverted No. 7 or No. 11.

Meanwhile, the injury setback is likely to see Mahlatsi start his Amakhosi career rather than his new face.
