Wojciech Grzędinski is Photojournalist of the Year 2022
Union of journalists As every year, awarded prizes to the best Polish reportage and documentary photographers. The purpose of the competition Photojournalist of the year 2022 was an excellent photojournalist, professionally and artistically mature and a testament to the most valuable informative photographs that chronicle the past year.
Photojournalism of the Year
They were nominated for Photojournalist of the Year 2022 Marek M. Berezowski, Wojciech Grzędinski and Beata Zawrzel. The winner was Wojciech Grzędinski, who was nominated for this title for the fifth time, who presented his story about the war in Ukraine. With this report, he also won the photojournalism category. Photo of the year
He, in turn, was chosen as the creator of the Publicity Photo of the Year Agnieszka Sadowskawhose image shows refugees in a forest near the Polish-Belarusian border. This photo also won the portrait category.

The best pictures in the category
The photographs were judged by a jury consisting of Anna Brzezińska, Monika Szewczyk, Andrzej Grygiel, Tomasz Śmigielski and Jacek Turczyk. The competition was accompanied by a ceremonial presentation of medals to Tadeusz Późniak and Tytus Żmijewski. It is a badge of honor for a photojournalist whose achievements are appreciated by the members of the association.

Built at a cost of 262 million zlotys. Every day at 11:00 a.m. in the Orientarium building you can admire the water baths of the Indian elephants: Aleksander, Taru and Kyanu.
