Yan with Davlishvili weighing results

There’s no lost love between Petr Yan and bantamweight Merab Dvalishvili heading to the UFC Las Vegas card this Saturday.

A rare non-Apex event in Vegas, Fight Night takes place at The Theater at the Virgin Hotels instead of Yan and Dvalishvili. There is bad blood between them dating back to past fights. Championship with Dvalishvili team-mate Aljamain Sterling. The rivalry between Russia (Ayan) and Georgia (Dvalishvili) is also ongoing.

The event also marked the landing of Nikita Krylov and Ryan Spann, who were supposed to be number one at UFC Vegas 69 two weeks ago, until Krylov withdrew due to illness with the guard underway.

At the same time, the main joint work had Alexander. Romanov is a heavyweight looking to return from the first loss of his career to former Bellator MMA heavyweight champion Alexander Volkov.
